We were colleagues when we first met in 2012 – I was very lucky that the developer before him did a lousy job and had to be replaced with my now husband! 🙂 When we were introduced, my first thought was “how good looking!” – he also had a very calm energy and a sweet charisma. He always did. We became work buddies, then friends, then we were looking for each others’ company more and more… and the rest is history!

Out of the 17-20 dresses I had tried, this was the one that I felt best in – the feeling that I had only read about in articles before – that “bridal zing” came instantly. I was opting for a minimalistic but playfully and tastefully sensual beach-bride look with no or just the right amount of lace. Mind you, the other two dresses I almost went with were also GBS Herve Paris dresses (Tavernay and Vendres)!
My favourite part of the dress is definitely the splits (both under the armpits and the skirt) – those have sold it for me!
We opted for a lakeside venue (seaside would have been lovely but that was out of our budget range unfortunately) and we immediately fell in love with Playa Luna near Pápa, Hungary. It has a very bohemian and tropical atmosphere – it even has palm trees around the lake, so it was our dream place to get married at. The guests were also swooning about it, loved the foosball and pool tables upstairs, as well as the lounge area, the beach beds and the beautiful accommodation. I can only recommend this place!
